All-American Fun at Family Fun Day

Huntley's Farmers Market hosts third annual event Saturday, July 2.

Huntley’s Farmers Market is having an all-American celebration this weekend with Family Fun Day, featuring homespun events like the Around the Block parade.

The parade has grown in the three years since the annual Family Fun Day started, said Barb Read, village administrator and organizer of the Farmers Market. This year, Read hopes to have more people come out to watch the parade.

Children and their families are invited to come to downtown Huntley on Saturday to get materials to decorate their bikes and pets and parents can decorate strollers for the parade. Decorating starts at 10 a.m. at the Farmers Market, on Coral Street between Church and Woodstock streets in the Town Square.
