Comedian Pat McGann Peforms at Lucy's Comedy Cafe

JUST ANNOUNCED!

Chicago comedian Pat McGann will join Nate Weatherup and Vince Martin at Raue Center for the Arts’ Lucy’s Comedy Café at 8:3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014.

These distinguished, and hilarious, comedians have collectively performed all across the nation.

McGann recently appeared on ABC’s “Countdown Chicago 2014” New Year’s Eve special and starred in a Giordano’s Pizza video that was featured on ‘The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart.

He is the host and creator of WTTW-TV’s “The Chicago Stand-Up Project." McGann will make his first appearance on CBS’s “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Friday, Jan. 24.

Martin’s distinctive perspective on American life and politics combines with a laid-back, friendly delivery to create a wickedly clever and wildly funny act.

Weatherup’s sharp wit landed him as an opener for fellow comedians Dave Coulier (performing at Raue Center on Saturday, Jan. 18) and Jamie Kennedy.

The evening is hosted by Mike Preston and also includes a special performance by the Williams Street Repertory Improv Troupe: R. Michael Wasz, Phillip Denofrio, Dave Niven, Rick Copper, Casey Sleeman, Kevin Slimko, Jessica Benson and Jeffrey Cook. 

Join WSR Improv for an hour of laughs based on your suggestions. It's never the same show and the material is always different...if you miss this show...you'll never see it again! 

The cast will bring their quick wits, you and your friends bring your wackiest ideas.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 day of. They can be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at815.356.9212 or 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake. 

Just interested in the improv? They'll start just after 10:30 p.m. and $5 tickets are available at the door! (Seats are first come, first serve)
