Didn't make the Grand Opening but went there today for a sandwich and a couple of draft beersl. Looked at the menu and ordered a pulled pork sandwich. At the top of the menu it showed a bunch of things that you could chose a choice of that are included... No asterisk about any but when I asked for the onion rings, then, I was told it was an additonal dollar. No big deal but I would mark the menue so a customer would know and not feel goofy. One of the "big shots" I think came behind the counter and I told him that the first beer I had definitly had a taste of the cleaning product and was like the rinse didn't eliminate it. He said thanks for letting him know.When going to a new place I guess we always have to accept some odd things. Since with tip and two drafts, my bill was $19.00, think I will wait until they get the kinks out.

Since this recently opened up my family and I decided to give it a try for the first time last night. I would have to say we were more than disappointed. The service was slow and unfriendly. The food was passable at best. Not one member of my family was impressed with any of the food they received. I realize it is just a sports bar, but I paid the same prices I would at a sit down restaurant, so I was hoping for something better. The only time our server showed any hustle was when he was clearing the table, like he was trying to get out of there for the night. First impressions mean a lot to me, and I will not be heading back to this establishment any time soon.

After a little apprehension because of the previous two negative previews, we went to Sponsors last night. Loved the burgers, loved the atmosphere, loved the Karaoke. This will be our new hang out on Friday nights whenever we can get there. Love the fact that the whole place has flooring so you don't have to try to find a dance floor. I mean when you have good music, you've got to be able to dance. The staff was fun and engaging. Just an overall great time.

I stopped in for a beer this afternoon and had the impression I was a nuisance. I asked for a Miller Lite draft and was asked small or large with no explanation. There was no one else at the bar, but the entire time I was there the bartender was squabbling with who I assume to be the owner. I was never offered a menu. I am always amazed at people who open bars and then act like they are doing a favor for customers. Sorry Sponsors (stupid name), I'll go to Sammy's, Parkside (although prices are too high) and Offie's where they appreciate customers.

I agree completely! The bartender (male) and always wears a stupid cowboy hat, He has no clue on how to run a bar! The owner's of Sponsor's (stupid name) have not even completed their Bassett training. Idiot's of the third degree! Food is horrible and overly priced!

Went to sponsors with my family this past week and the service was awesome! We were greeted by the bartender when we walked in and had a friendly waitress when we sat at our table. The food was good and had no complaints. We will definitely be visiting again!
