Light of Christ Lutheran Church located at 100 Hanson Road in Algonquin will be hosting a Healthy Living Seminar and Challenge starting January 12, 2013 from 9:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m.  The seminar will have 3 worldwide presenters discussing strengthening your body, mind and faith, setting realistic goals, developing healthy eating habits, reviewing different forms of exercise and making nutritious choices.  The seminar will be followed up by a 12 week Monday night challenge to help support you with more information.  There will be local chefs coming to share secrets on how to cook healthy in 30 minutes or less to someone telling different types of exercise and teaching some moves, etc.  These building blocks will help you succeed in your goals and there will be people to help and encourage you along the way.  The cost of the Healthy Living Seminar and Challenge is $55.00 which also includes a T-shirt.  The seminar and challenge has a limited number of participants; therefore, an early registration is encouraged.  Registration and information about the speakers is available on the Light of Christ website; www.locchurch.com/health.   Answers to various questions can be obtained by calling the church office at 847-658-9250 or contacting bonniekp@locchurch.com.
