Miller Leads Huntley Past Crystal Lake South

Crystal Lake South scored the first basket of the game off a Huntley turnover but that was their only bright spot Wednesday.

The Red Raiders then went on a 14-0 run and Troy Miller scored the first 8 points of the game for Huntley. Miller finished with a game high 18 points including four 3-pointers.

Huntley led 16-6 after one quarter and 28-10 at the half.  Huntley went up 21 in the third quarter before CLS finished the quarter on a run to get within 15 points at 39-24.

Jake Brock and Ryan Craig each scored 8 points, Bryce Only had 7, Justin Frederick had 6 and Amanze Egekeze finished with 4 points.

Huntley is now 20-2 overall and 9-0 in the Valley Division.  The Red Raiders play host to Dundee-Crown on Saturday night in a battle of the top two teams in the Valley.
