Woodstock Man Arrested for Shooting Bullet into Neighbor's House
Paul J. Csech, 22, was arrested Friday, March 15, 2013, and charged with reckless discharge of a firearm.
Woodstock resident Paul J. Csech, 22, was charged Friday with reckless discharge of a firearm, a Class 4 felony, and criminal damage to property, a Class A misdemeanor, after he fired a gun in his apartment, the Northwest Herald reports.
Csech, of 420 Vine St. unit 2, fired his Remington 30-06 rifle at about 2 a.m. March 15, toward his TV, the story said. The bullet traveled through the TV, the apartment wall, and ultimately entered a nearby house. The bullet broke the home's glass window and lodged into a piece of trim, the NWH story states.
Csech has a valid Firearm Owners Identification Card, and was arrested and taken to the Woodstock Police Department. From there, he was transported to the McHenry County Jail, the story stated.
