Early voting for the Nov. 6 election begins Oct. 22 at various locations in McHenry County. The early voting period lasts until Saturday, Nov. 3.

To vote early, a person must show a valid photo identification. Early voters must show a current driver's license, a state-issued ID card or another government-issued ID with a photograph, the McHenry County Clerk stated in a press release. Early voting locations and hours:

McHenry County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, 2nd Floor, Conference Room A, Woodstock

• Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Wednesday, Oct. 24, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday Oct. 27, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Sunday Oct. 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
