Garage Sale at Storage Units in Algonquin, Carpentersville This Weekend

A twist on the typical garage sale — Life Storage of Algonquin and Carpentersville will open its storage units this weekend for sellers to unload some of their goods.

The event was held last year in Algonquin at 2301 W. Algonquin Road but has expanded this year to the Carpentersville site, 2253 Randall Road. Also new this year, Life Storage offered its units for free to the public and not just to those who rent space at its facility.

Last year, items were sold out of 32 units in Algonquin and this year is expected to be even bigger. The multi-unit garage sale will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Read more on Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Patch
