This Super Bowl Matchup Stinks. Where's My Team?

How do we get our team into the big game this year?

The New England Patriots and the New York Giants. Blah!

I've seen this game before, but this time there's no "Will the Patriots have a perfect season?" or "Will Eli win a title like his brother did?" It's the same game without the drama.

So now we're stuck with another east coast game. There's no way around it, either Brady or a Manning is going to win the whole thing. And that means more Brady and Manning on prime time next season.

It could have been Harbaugh versus Harbaugh — a Civil War game! But the Baltimore kicker and the San Francisco punt returner apparently had vacation plans they couldn't get out of. Don't worry fellas. If my wife booked a hotel room months in advance even a Super Bowl wouldn't get me out of trouble if I skipped that trip.

So there's no time like the present to figure out a way for my Chicago Bears to get to this game next season. Yes, they have a new General Manager (a big sarcastic "Yah!"). And yes, they have a new guy calling the offensive plays (Again, "Yah!"). But we know how to do it, right? The arm chair quarterbacks can figure this out.

Tell us your plan on getting your team to the Super Bowl next year. Does it involve a nice pep talk? New players? Maybe a major injury to someone named Rodgers?

And are you watching the game or just the commercials?

If I have to sit through four hours of Brady and Manning there better be E*Trade babies to keep me entertained.

I think wrapping Cutler in Charmin toilet paper so the poor baby doesn't get hurt is a good start.

I'm married to a Packers fan, so I'm just glad I don't have to watch the discount double-check move this Sunday. And I'd love to see the Budweiser frogs return.

Madonna? She was last relevant when the Bears won their last championship.

Which is about the same time Michael Bivona last wrote something relevant.

Oh, I didn't know Madonna was in the half-time show....we probably spend as much or more time watching the Puppy Bowl than the Super Bowl.

Still enjoying the Epic Fail by the Packers. Maybe I'll just watch that game again since I really don't care for teams from New York or Boston.

Sunday will just be another excuse for me to gorge on pizza, nachos, guac and wings.

Madonna not relevant? But I still like to 'vogue'. The Bears need a speed receiver. Remember Willie Gault? The guy could extend the field and force defenses to respect a deep pass. The Bears don't have that and haven't for a long time.

They did, but it also ruined Devin Hester's speed forever when he got an ankle injury several years ago he's never fully recovered from. Gee, thanks Lovie Smith.

I'm a transplant from Rhode Island, so my team is playing this weekend, thus I will be watching the whole game wearing my Brady Jersey, go Pats.

What's sick is that all of you will keep soaking in this stuff from these companies who keep robbing you of your money and health while reaping sickening profits off of you, all while getting ridiculous tax breaks your families could only dream of. But hey, as long as we can stuff our faces right?

Obama, Romney, Gingrich, all the same person.

Alas, America will never wake up to the fact that our economy and the federal reserve has become one huge ponzi scheme for bankers. Sadly, Ron Paul was the only candidate who called for an audit of the FED.
