Really? Mexico in Palatine? Have you ever visited Elgin? The illegals are a huge problem but they aren't just Mexicans. The problem is that our government has decided to protect and support them. Civil rights groups protect and support them. Liberals protect and support them.
People worry about our jobs being shipped over seas...LMAO...its the illegals taking all of the jobs, not the countries over seas. Look in every factory, every fast food place, every restaurant, every convenience store, every school, every doctors office, every grocery store....it's not just manual labor and landscape jobs anymore. Most employers have a don't ask don't tell approach. You and I are paying for their medical bills, their share of taxes, their auto insurance and the majority of their groceries....if they make decent money, most gets sent back home.

I love how people always say they are stealing jobs. I have two friends that manage restaurants. They both say they barely get any applicants to work in the kitchen or bussing tables that are Caucasian. Landscaping? Many unemployed people could easily start landscaping businesses. All it takes is a mower, a weed wacker and Craigs List. But you barely see Caucasian names advertising. Sadly, the illegals you are talking about are doing the jobs most of this area is too proud to do. They work hard and make the minimum wage that most unemployed former middle management middle class subarbanites wouldn't ever bother to apply for.

I will never understand how this country was founded by people trying to find a better life, savagely taking the land from the Native Americans, then turn around and make laws keeping people out. Just because we are born on this land doesn't make us any more privileged than those who are not. I would rather let the hard working illegals stay, and deport those who take advantage of the system and SNAP and welfare.

I am not racist but I must admit while I do think learning another language is important, I do not agree with the United States putting everything in Spanish or getting a recording press 1 for Spanish and 2 for English or the recording automatically starts speaking spanish.if you visit Mexico nothing is in English. English has always been the language here and if you want to live here , you should learn to speak our language not vice versa.

Actually Relentless, no I do not go around asking and I do not assume if they are white they are illegal. I actually work and own part of several business's that work with or serve many local, regional and nationwide business's small and large. Most have many illegals employed somewhere within their ranks and they know it. What makes you think I am white? Why the hate and name calling? There are better ways to discuss other points of view.
