Police: LITH Teen Stole Winning Lottery Ticket
The Northwest Herald reports Nikko R. Gonzalez is expected back in court next month after recently entering a not guilty plea to a felony theft charge.
A Lake in the Hills teen accused of stealing a lottery ticket that turned out to be a $10,000 winner recently pleaded not guilty to a felony theft charge, according to a Northwest Herald article.
Lake in the Hills Police say Nikko R. Gonzalez, 19, of 5421 Crossview Lane, stole a $20 scratch-off lottery ticket from a friend's parents while he was at their home playing video games, according to the NW Herald.
The parents later learned the ticket was missing and contacted police, according to the Northwest Herald. The parents then learned Gonzalez had won the lottery.
