The Carpentersville Police Department arrested the two teens last Thursday.
Two teens were arrested last week in connection with an armed robbery that occurred outside Dundee-Crown High School on Dec. 18.
The Carpentersville Police Department arrested a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old, both from Carpentersville, according to a District 300 press release. Both were charged with armed robbery and attempted vehicle theft.
They were not Dundee-Crown students.

Carpentersville Police are investigating a report of a student who was robbed at gunpoint in the school's parking lot Tuesday evening during a girl's basketball game.
The student told police two young adult males approached him around 5:50 p.m. After some conversation, one of the males who was armed with a handgun "robbed the sophomore of his cell phone and asked for his keys," according to a District 300 press release.
Both of the suspects then fled on foot and the student was not injured, according to the news release.
Police are working closely with Dundee-Crown and District 300 to investigate the incident.
"The school has several video surveillance cameras throughout the outside and inside of the school," according to the news release. "It is currently being determined whether the perpetrators were students."
There were several school security personnel and supervisors at the school when the incident occurred.
Carpentersville Police have increased campus patrols for after-school activities at Dundee-Crown. The school is also offering a $500 reward to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest in this incident.

Uh...can you offer a physical description of the people you are looking for? If not, that tells me that the culprits are black males because of your reluctance to give a description.
Political correctness has turned us into pansies.

Wow Dan, since the two arrested are underage, maybe they can not identify them.

This happened weeks ago, Willie. This article has been updated. The original article had the police seeking assistance in finding the culprits, in which case a physical description usually helps.
