Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, DUI, Underage Drinking
Huntley Police release reports for the week ending Jan. 30, 2012.
Domestic Battery
Thomas J. Riff, 40, 10725 Rushmore Lane, Huntley, was arrested Jan. 24 on two counts of domestic battery, aggravated domestic battery, resisting a peace officer and violation of a bail bond. Riff was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond call.
Cedric L. Welch, 36, 10570 Potomac Drive, Huntley, was arrested Jan. 28 on charges of domestic battery and possession of a firearm with no firearm owner’s identification card. Welch was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond call.
David L. Stout, 42, 11407 Douglas, Unit C, Huntley, was arrested Jan. 29 on two counts of domestic battery, and resisting a peace officer. Stout was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond call.
DUI
Joshua A. Hilden, 35, 8697 Jeffrey Way, Huntley, was arrested Jan. 29 on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Hilden posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear Feb. 17 in McHenry County Court.
Driving Citation
Sergio Mendez, 26, 464 Spruce, South Elgin, was arrested Jan. 24 on charges of driving without a valid driver’s license and driving with no headlights. Mendez posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear Feb. 17 in McHenry County Court.
Matthew D. Johnson, 28, 1417 W. Woods, Arlington Heights, was arrested Jan. 23 on charges of driving while license revoked, expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Johnson posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear Feb. 17 in McHenry County Court.
Failure to Notify Damage
Richard Cameron Palmer, 20, Huntley, was arrested Jan. 24 on a charge of failing to notify after damaging an unattended vehicle. Palmer posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear Feb. 17 in McHenry County Court.
Underage Drinking
A 14-year-old Huntley boy was arrested Jan. 25 on a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor. He was released to his mother and will attend peer jury.
Outstanding Warrant
Wesley A. Santini, 23, 14275 Flagstaff, Huntley, was arrested Jan. 26 on two outstanding Kane County warrants. Santini was transported to Kane County Jail to await bond.
House Burglary
Cash was reported stolen during a residential burglary in the 11600 block of Leland Lane, which was reported to police Jan. 28.
Theft
A tank for a gas grill was stolen from the yard in the 12300 block of Scarlet Lane, according to a report made Jan. 29.
