Huntley Police Blotter: Burglaries, Vandalism Reported
The blotter includes reports from May 7-12.
Huntley police released the following reports this week:
- Vandals entered seven school buses at a business in the 11800 block of Route 47 and sprayed each with fire extinguishers on May 7, police said.
- A 16-year-old male from Lake in the Hills and a 15-year-old male from Huntley were charged with disorderly conduct at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road on May 7, reports stated.
- A homeowner in the 11600 block of Second Street reported someone egged the house, destroyed a solar light and stole a Canadian 1600 hockey stick on May 7, police said.
- A Huntley High School student reported her iPhone 4 was stolen at the school on May 10, police said.
- Someone burglarized an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 11400 block of Bethel Ave. and stole a Chicago Bears baseball cap and an iPod on May 10, reports stated.
- Tyler Grodzki, 19, of 1011 Brittany Bend, Lake in the Hills, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, consumption of alcohol by a minor, resisting a peace officer, and possession of cannabis on May 12, police said. Grodzki was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond.
