Huntley Historical Society Explores County’s One-Room Schools History

Guest speaker offers a look at schools throughout the county.

 

 

Local historian and author Bob Frenz will give the Huntley Historical Society insight on the county’s one-room schools

Frenz’s lecture, "One-Room Schools:  One Size Fits All,” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 at the Willow Room at the Huntley Park District, 12015 Mill St., Huntley.

Frenz is a board member of the McHenry County Museum and a retired Huntley High School teacher. His mother attended a one-room school in the area.
