Huntley Community Radio officially began broadcasting from the Al Litwin studios last month and this week reaches another milestone: airing a lineup of local programming.
The nonprofit radio station has been broadcasting a continuous stream of music and a live broadcast of a local news and weather from 6 to 7 a.m. called “Good Morning, Huntley!” hosted by Michael Geheren. Geheren, a senior at Huntley High School, is managing editor of the high school’s newspaper, The Voice.
This week, HCR is planning to add local shows. The shows include:
- Centegra Physicians Lecture Services
- Table Talk
- My Huntley Neighbors
- Schmiggly Bon McSchmoggin-Boggin Stories
- Huntley High School-The Voice
- Joe’s Music Lab
- Big Swingtime
- Long Live the Beatles
- Mountain Melodies
Check the HCR website, shown above, this week for times of programs, a description of the shows and the hosts.
Thanks. We'll email you the next time we update this story.
