Greenroom Theater Group Raises Money Through Broadway Tunes

Above: This video is the song "Matchmaker" in the broadway musical Fidler on the Roof. Greenroom sang it Saturday at their Cabaret fundraiser at the Cosman Cultural Center in Huntley.

Greenroom Theater is a small theater company that produces a ton of shows including their monthly (very popular) improv show and several producations throughout the year. 

The Broadway Cabaret this year had an interesting twist, the guys played the girl parts of the songs and vice versa. They also included a live auction Saturday at the show in Huntley at the Cosman Cultural Center. The cast member auctioned off small things with a funny story to the audience members during the intermissions. 

The show was a fundraiser which they only have once a year. If you want to donate to the group and could not make it Saturday, email dave@greenroomtheater.com.

Next Improv show in Huntley: September 10th at 7pm at the Cosman Cultural Center. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.

The Sound of Music: July 29-August 7 at the Cosman Cultural Center in Huntley. Times and Tickets are attached in the photos above.
