Demise of Mental Health Center Leaves County, Agencies Figuring Out Solution to Crisis

Family Service and Community Mental Health Center's end leaves a hole in services for families and mental health patients, the Northwest Herald reports.

The McHenry County Mental Health Board heard pleas Wednesday night from Family Serivce and Community Mental Health Center patients for help, the Northwest Herald reports. Family Service is one of the county's largest mental health providers but the agency is folding due to financial problems. Other providers are ready to step in and help Family Service clients.
