Which restaurant serves up the best ribs in McHenry County? Let us know in the comments' section below.

 

For this round of the Chowdown Showdown, we are in search of the best place to get ribs in McHenry County.

We will take comments in this article through Tuesday, May 1 regarding your favorite place for ribs in the county. Voting will stop at 5 p.m.

We will select the top finalists — the restaurants with the most comments — and place them in our finalists' poll. That poll will post on all McHenry County Patch sites the morning of Wednesday, May 2.

As long as someone mentioned Marengo, so will I. Joe's Place has outstanding ribs with a secret sauce. Huge slabs and great homemade fries. Dip those fries into the sauce and you have gone to paradise.
