After a week of taking votes from local Patch.com readers, Conscious Cup in Crystal Lake has been chosen as the best place to get coffee in McHenry County. 

Patch.com readers chose Conscious Cup and Cafe Firefly in Algonquin as finalists in this round of the Chowdown. 

Voting closed for the Chowdown at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Conscious Cup lead our Chowdown poll with 93 votes — 82 percent of the vote total. Cafe Firefly had 20 votes or 17 percent of the vote total. Conscious Cup also receieved two positive reviews and ratings over the past week on its directory listing on Crystal Lake Patch.
