The Huntley Historical Society will present a program on "The Beautiful Painted Ladies of Elgin" at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2 at the Cosman Center, 12015 Mill St.

Jennifer Fritz who is an architect and the former Elgin Preservation Officer will give the history of these magnificent houses which dominate the area near The Grand Victoria River Boat.
