HCA's k-2nd grade cheerleading squad took the floor last weeknd at the IRCA State Championship held at the Sear's Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. Up against 8 teams on Saturday, finishing in first spot leading into Sunday in their division, showed the fans and the judges that lots of hard work and dedication pays off no matter what age or size you are.  Competing against Cary, & Mchenry on Sunday, this squad of 24 girls had everyone cheering for them by the end of their flawless performance, finishing with a 1st place win of the State Championships for the 2nd grade divison. HCA couldn't be more proud of these young Shining Stars.
